A welcoming and friendly independently owned and operated traditional multi roomed local pub hidden away in country lanes. The split-level interior with flagstones and exposed stone walls leads onto a separate restaurant area and a lounge bar is reached through a door next to the main bar. A good selection of pub food is served along with pizza. Butcombe original and a guest, usually a pale ale from a local brewery. Traditional style cider is also sold. The small garden is on the line of a public footpath past the pub.
