Reopened late March '25 after refurbishment. It is under new ownership, Craft Union, and now has two real ales on. Yet to be fully surveyed. New furniture, both inside and in the garden, and some new 'sports screens'.

According to the local press there is a weekly events schedule, including bingo, free pool on Mondays, darts on Tuesdays, meat raffle on Wednesdays, card bingo on Fridays, followed by karaoke 'til late, live music on Saturday nights, darts competitions on Sundays.

Nice old traditional locals pub with two bars, dating back to 1691. Close to the town centre.
