Handsome old village pub in Kilmersdon owned by the Jollife family estate (Ammerdown House) and leased to tenants. Formed of a central bar with two adjacent traditional rooms for dining with stone walls and exposed beams. The long steep hill leading out of the west of the village is said to be the origin of the 'Jack and Jill' tale.
