A characterful pub in the village of Stratton on the Fosse, offering, usually two (possibly three) ales, mainly from west country breweries, including their 'House Beer' from Bason Bridge Brewing near Highbridge. The pub has a strong tradition of supporting live music, encouraging open-mic sessions and even providing instruments. A wide range of ciders and they run up to four cider festivals per year. The village is set in beautiful countryside with the pub directly opposite Downside Abbey. Three letting rooms are available. The pub is under new ownership from April 2022 after the retirement of the previous owners.
