Large bustling sports orientated two room local pub with extensive pub games. A skittle alley is in the main bar along with pool and darts and two full-size snooker tables are in a large upstairs room. Three skittles teams used the alley, live music some Saturday evenings. Butcombe is regular with maybe one changing guest. Snooker tables upstairs (membership or fee required). No food at present ( Feb 26) Under new management from Feb 2026 and extensively refurbished May 2026 with all seating reupholstered in faux-leather vinyl coverings – the public bar in deep blue, and the new ‘Cocktail Lounge’ in vibrant pink!
