Comfortable sports oriented pub close to the Assembly Rooms. Sky/BT sports are shown here on numerous big screens, plus there is a room dedicated to pool tables. Bath's only Underground Comedy Club THE JESTERS is in the basement of the building.

Note that the pub sometimes display the badge of keg beers on their handpulls ( Grand Central IPA shown on photos). On recent visits ( Autumn 2025) bar staff were quick to point out that this beer was keg and served from a tap on the side bar but this practise could be confusing.
