Boutique pub with rooms reopened in summer 2025 and after an extensive refurbishment. Generally only a single cask ale on and very popular with younger locals when music is on at weekends. The Bear Inn is a Grade II listed historic coaching inn, re-built in 1720, located conveniently in Wincanton town centre just a short distance from the A303. With a real log fire, a large customer car park, and a large function room / skittle alley. Re-opened 1 Aug 2025. Re-opened mid 2023 - but closed again late 2023
