A visit to Hinton Charterhouse to visit, first, the Rose & Crown, a recently refurbished, large & comfortable village pub with accommodation and meals.

Then on to the Stag, a large village local with two ales on and popular for good pub food. Originally two rooms it has recently been opened up to create a single L-shaped bar and restaurant area.
