The Duke is a lovely 18th century traditional country pub that was originally three cottages, so plenty of room for a pint or two. There is a separate restaurant and a front bar at the left. At the back there is a large garden, with plenty of seating and tables, it is entered by walking under two whale bones.

There are usually two or three ales on from local brewer Moonraker.
