The White hart is s Grade II listed pub dating from 1625. Friendly and welcoming, and very much at the heart of the village. The guest beer is quite often from a smaller west country brewer.

It was once the village blacksmith and is a warren of small rooms with stone walls and low beams. During WW2 It was used by American GI's from local bases as a dance hall.
