A short crawl of two pubs on the outskirts of Frome, to the south.

We start at the Cross Keys , a traditional pub with a large enclosed garden and covered patio area in the countryside, near the junction of the A361 Frome by-pass. Two ales on. Note that they close at 20.00, so a slightly earlier start at 19.15.

The Masons Arms is a smart and comfortable pub with extensive areas for dining as well as plenty of room for those just wanting a pint. Reopened in April 2016 after a major renovation, this roadside country pub is on the old main road into Frome from the south. Three ales on.
