The Castle is a very popular comfortable pub commanding splendid views across the town towards Salisbury Plain. The 2008 refurbishment by previous owners Flatcappers earned a national CAMRA award. Inside there is the large main bar area and, at the back, a couple of smaller rooms, all with plenty of seating.
