A couple of our Bath pubs on the Lower Bristol Road, just a few minutes walk apart.

The Hop Pole was previously a tenanted Bath Ales pub but lease taken on by Abbey Ales in Spring 2024. adding to the three Abbey already operate in Bath. Usually two Abbey Ales beers, one St Austell/Bath Ales and a traditional style cider. Re-opened May 2024 after a refurbishment, new landlord from Nov 2024. It's half-mile west of the city centre, opposite Royal Victoria Park and by the river Avon.

The Victoria is a very pleasant gastro pub, with at least tow ales normally on.
